This page presents the global information of the CodeX server: the latest news, the most recent projects, and some statistics about CodeX activity.

CodeX Software map :

The software map indexes all the projects hosted on the CodeX platform. You can search projects according various criteria (topic, programming language, operating system, etc...). The software map is a pivotal service in CodeX. It increases the visibility of your project, enhance collaboration and software reuse.

Your Personal Page :

Your dashboard! This page compile information that concerns you: the projects you are member of, objects you are monitoring, actions that you've initiated or that has been assigned to you, etc.

The document manager :

To manage the documents that goes with your project. Several views are available (tree, table, etc ...).

Bugs Tracker :

An example of the CodeX generic tracker. Here, we can track and manage software bugs. We can follow the bugs life-cycle, be warned when changes occurs, add follow-up comments, notice another user, etc. All the modifications done on the object to track are all keeped in history.
The tracker tool of CodeX is generic, it means that you can track any kind of object (that you can customize or create by yourself).

Subversion (or CVS) repository browsing :

Allow you to browse the arborescence of your Subversion or CVS repository, to see file modifications, files history, commit messages, who did what and when.

Subversion (or CVS) repository search :

Allow you to search in the arborescence of your Subversion or CVS repository. In the result page, crossed-references to others CodeX entities are displayed as links and let you access the objects. Here, we can see that some commit messages make references to bugs fixed in the revision (SR). In CodeX, all the entities can be referenced. This increases the tools integration and the coherence of the platform.

File Diff :

Show you the difference between two file versions, with a nice color code.

Another theme :

You can completely customize CodeX (texts in different languages, graphical theme). Here, an example of the theme used for our Partners site.

Eclipse plugin :

The CodeX Eclipse plugin let you work with your trackers and artifacts within the Eclipse IDE environment.
